Dr. Anthony Ojonimi ONOJA, an agricultural economist and a research consultant is the president of Agricultural Policy Research Network (APRNet). He is a Senior Lecturer and Head, Department of Agricultural Economics and Extension, University of Port-Harcourt, Nigeria. He is also a Senior Research Fellow at the Institute of Agricultural Research & Development (IAR&D), University of Port Harcourt. He obtained a PhD at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) in 2014, majoring in Resource and Environmental Economics in the field of Agricultural Economics. He also majored in Agricultural Finance option in another M.Sc obtained from the same university (UNN) in 1996. He has vast practical experience in capacity building, agricultural policy analysis, agricultural finance/project analysis, resource and environmental economics, qualitative, quantitative, participatory and desk research spanning for over 16 years. Professor Ike holds a PhD Degree in Agricultural Economics from University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He joined the services of Delta State University, Abraka in November 2002 and was promoted to the rank of Professor of Agricultural Economics in October 1st, 2015.
He has held different positions and responsibilities in the institution in addition to teaching and research since his appointment.
He has published many scholarly articles in referred local and international journals and has also consulted for some local and international organizations.
Professor Ike is currently the Vice President APRNet.
Dr. Emeka Nzeh is an Agricultural Economist with strong and sound background in Resource and Environmental Economics from University of Nigeria, Nsukka and Federal University of Technology, Owerri. He is a Lecturer in the Department of Agricultural Economics & Extension of Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT), Enugu.
He is an Associate Fellow of African Heritage Institution (AfriHeritage) and also a member of many recognized national and international research organizations. And he is a consultant to numerous local and International Institutions and has many publications to his credit. Dr. Nzeh is the Current Head of Department of Agricultural Economics & Extension, Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT), Enugu. Added to this, he is the Current Secretary General of Agricultural Policy Research Network (APRNet) and is married with kids.
Dr Gloria Ujor had about 30 years experience working with the Federal government of Nigeria in the agricultural and environmental sectors, where she was involved mainly in forestry, sustainable land management, environmental impact assessment and policies development. She embraced the technical and regulatory arms in the Federal Ministries, and developed herself in practical skills for policy formulation and regulatory functions including, but not limited to, programs’ development for biodiversity conservation and sustainable environmental management. In addition, she has expertise for international negotiations in multilateral environmental issues, monitoring of programs/projects/activities, development of national and international projects with appropriate involvement at country level.
Dr. Mercy Ebere Ndubueze-Ogaraku graduated from Rivers State University of Science & Technology, Port Harcourt, Nigeria, B.Sc. (Hons, 1997), MSc (2005) and Ph.D (2013) in Agricultural Economics. She is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Agricultural Economics & Extension, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria. Her specialty is Production Economics and Food Marketing and functions. Her recent research is focused on evaluating impact of healthcare services on farm productivity in southern Nigeria. She has published several articles in both local and international journals and attended several conferences.
Prof. Rabiu Mohammed Sani, is a lecturer from the Department of Agric Economics, Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Bauchi, Bauchi State, Nigeria. He is also the Director of the Center for Entrepreneurship Studies, ATB University. He is an Agricultural Economist, Consultant & public commentator on Sustainable Development. His key research areas are Production & Farm management; Sustainable Development; Agriculture Policy & Governance.He has been a Professor of Agriculture since 2007.
Dan OYOBOH is an Agricultural Economist by training. He holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Agricultural Economics and Extension Services as well as a Master degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Benin, Benin City, Nigeria. He is currently studying for a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Agricultural Economics at the University of Ilorin, Ilorin Nigeria. His experience spans over 18 years in key areas of agribusiness, value chains, marketing, training, research, policy directions as well as agricultural projects management.
Dr. Zelda Anne Elum is a lecturer in the Department of Agricultural Economics and Extension, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Port Harcourt, Port Harcourt, Nigeria. She obtained a B. Agric (Hons) (Second Class Upper Division) in Fisheries from the University of Benin, Nigeria; MSc in Agricultural Economics from Imperial College London and a PhD in Agricultural Economics from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, India.

He is a distinguished graduate of Odessa National Academy of Food Technologies, Odessa, Ukraine (ONAFT), having studied Food Technology with specialization in Food Process Engineering in his MSc. and Ph.D degrees obtained in 1991 and 1994, respectively.
